: REPLY

: Robert, the list would be endless. May I suggest a little time and research on your part with maps and any guidebooks available covering regional points of interest. Many of the ghosts in the states you mention are accessible only with a 4x4 and many are not. Nevada has over 1500 ghost towns and historical sites alone, so someone replying with a convienient list would be pointless. In April, I visited 13 ghost towns in Nevada and eastern California and only two were really 4x4 only sites, both inside California. The Nevada ghosts were accessible by dirt roads that were recently bladed by their respective county agencies.

: There is one in Death Valley area. Its called Panamint in the Panamint Mountain range. Not only do you have to use a 4x4 to get there....but it is pretty much required to have a winch as well. It is in very good condition, due to the fact that not many can get there.
