Hey there guys :) . Isn't this new forum fantastic?

Anyhow, I'm just curious to know if anybody else has visited Hillsboro, Montana? Hillsboro is one of THE most fantastic Ghost Towns I've ever been too.

Have YOU experienced Hillsboro as well?

Hillsboro is in the Big Horn Canyon in Montana's Carbon County. As far as I know, the only way to reach Hillsboro is by travelling north from near-abouts Lovell, Wyoming. You may also be able to acess the canyon from the 'Crow' Native American Reservation (Crow Agency, Big Horn County ect.), but that, I am not certain.

Hillsboro, as well as the Lockhart and Ewing Ranches are extreemly well preserved, and periodicly maintained by the Montana State park services. the scenery, in my opinion, is worth the journey alone, and there are many cool buildings and structures to see. The Canyon is a very photogenic area. I enjoyed my visit to the canyon.
