I am looking for directions to Rentie, OK. I found it mentioned on a link to Redbird, OK but nothing was mentioned of where it is actually located. If you could give me any information I would appreciate it. Thanks.

There was also an all-black town or settlement named Rentie that may have been located in North Tulsa, possibly in the area now known as Lincoln Park. Postal records indicate that Rentie had a post office although the exact location and dates of operation are unknown.

Rentie was a recognized town with it's own post office from 21 Jan 1904 - 31 May 1909. It was located at S16 TS18N R13E, which today would be between 81st and 91st and Yale Ave. and the Arkansas river area just across the river from Jenks.
