For those of you who have been to Aurora, Nevada and seen the graves of the Marden family children - guest author Peggy Lee researched how they died & their relationship to Horace Marden Albright the father of the National Park system.

Ever wonder how pioneers & modern day backcountry explorers search for elephants? Check out my story In Search of the Elephant.

And if you are interested in subscribing to Emmett Harder & Matt & Maggie Jones publication the Panamint Breeze - there's info on the sidebar on the front page on how to do that. Yours truly got the lead story in the December issue, and you will be seeing more in coming issues They are always looking for writers to submit stories as well - feel free to contact them to do that as well.

Happy New Year & happy ghosttowning everyone!!!!

Hi Cecile,

Thanks for passing along the link to your great website. I especially liked the pic on the home page of you in the Jeep with your husband (I think) hanging off the back. Iíll keep an eye out for your 2005 trip schedule.

Happy New Year!

Thank you! I just added you to my favorites.

We had the pleasure of exploring southern California a few years ago and now I'm gearing up for a trip to the northern part of the state. I think that your website will be very helpful! :)
