Hello everyone,

Does anyone know of any OLD Cemeteries in California, Arizona, Texas or Nevada that are friendly to student film makers?

If you do email me at josh@moviebootcamp.com

Thanks,

Josh

Great old cemetary in Jacksonville, OR - right over the border of California. You would have to look into the "friendly to filmaker" part.

There's a great cemetery close to the Louisiana border near Shreveport. It's just east of Marshall off of IH-30. Exit at the Scottsville exit and head north. Go on through the tiny town and the cemetery is on the left.

This cemetery has some amazing sculptures and artwork, and a very nice chapel. It also is associated with some legends including a weeping statue and a haunted hilltop next to the cemetery where a large house used to be. I can't see anyone caring if you film because no one is EVER there but there should be contact info at the cemetery itself. It's truly a beautiful, artistic, isolated cemetery and may be just what you need if you're still looking.
