Then, can you give me please the best ghost towns than I can see in COLORADO ... arround Denver, Rocky, Cheyenne, Aspen, Riverton, Durango, Pueblo ...

In 2004 you tell me about South Pass (WY) and Moulton (WY) I have seen and I have loved !
In 2005 I have seen Ballarat, Calico. (I have prefered ballarat)

In 2006 if you have nice like Moulton in CO please tell me where ? or If you know a western town like bodie ?

Thank's for your looking, and

Just finished translating your site. I looked at you plans for 2006 USA Colorado trip. If you want I can provide some back roads and history that would help make things more interesting. You will be going right past my home as I live between Denver and Estes Park. My wife and I would be happy to meet you and share our knowledge of Colorado.

I would also like to trade Bonds / links with you. Are you willing to do that?

Wish I had your skills with a camera. :(

I also would like to know why you are so fasinated with the Trucks in the USA.

Hope to hear from you.

PtitMousseDuWeb..............I have to admit, I don't have a real soft spot in my heart for the French people, overall, but it's refreshing to read your comments on the USA and it sounds like you truly enjoy your time here. I hope you have another great trip to the U.S. and get to see some ghost towns and points of historical interest during your stay. It's nice to know that there's still some folks in France who don't choose to malign the U.S. on a regular basis. Welcome!:)

Hi,

Thank's for all. And Ok ... for all

Yes I'm interesting for help to see beautiful Colorado scenery

Yes I'll take the road between Denver and Este Park, then it's possible to meet you and your wife for a short time of course because we go from Denver to a motel (in Rocky) during our plan trip (and I don't know now how many days we stay).

Yes for the link - "I would also like to trade Bonds / links with you. Are you willing to do that?" - Yes no problem, just tell me what must I do.

Sorry I don't understand : "Wish I had your skills with a camera" my english is poor

"I also would like to know why you are so fasinated with the Trucks in the USA" -> Cause you have the more nice trucks of the world ... Like France have the best restaurants of the world ;)

I'dont know if you can help me but if you can translate my website I'll make an english section "VOYAGE AU USA" with my pics and english text ... My english is too poor to make that ... but if someone can help me I'm ok

Interesting events since last updates.
A request from the high school in Australia wanting to use some of my photos for their year book. It is the same high School the croc hunter, Steve Irwin, graduated from. A real honor. I gladly supplied the photos.
The author wanting to use photos for his book on historic tombstones. Colorado has many famous old west figures. Looks like I will be published again.
The Colorado Historical Society’s private tour of the Overland trail complete with an introduction to Mark Twain and his lecture on his book “Roughin It”.
Finally getting the opportunity to meet one of my favorite authors in person. I even took some of his books with me and like a stupid tourist asked for and received his autograph (in three books. ) He was very gracious.
A letter from Holy Sister Sarah. Wants photos of Sunshine Colorado. Her research indicates her ancestors mined in that area. She still has the gun her great grandpa carried with him to the gold fields of California. Apparently he stopped in Colorado on the way home.
The gentlemen with the connection to Unionville, Nevada wanting to know for sure which cabin on my site Mark Twain built and when. A special THANKS to Will who I met on the Overland Trail. He was gracious enough to call me and take me on a tour of some “new” old ghost towns. He also shared some of his research with me.
My recent accidental encounter with one of the owners of the Goodnight ranch in Texas. I am sure you have heard of the Goodnight-Loving Texas cattle drives. And the Goodnight Loving trail. I even got an invite to tour the place.

The home page photo has been updated for you. With this update you get several new ghost towns. Dyersville, Farnham Spur, Tiger, Parkville, and Wapiti. A look at the Overland Trail, a couple of dredges around Breckenridge and the Country Boy mine. Also some updated photos of a couple locations, Winfield, St Elmo, Vicksburg with photos contributions from some friends of RockyMountain Profiles. A total of several hundred photos.

Rocky, Superlatives aren't enough to tell you how great your site is, each time I see it I find more and more to enjoy. Thanks so much!
I happened to notice something a bit odd about one of the photos you've got posted on the "Vulture City Arizona 2 Townsite page"
Vulture City Arizona 2 (http://www.rockymountainprofiles.com/vulture_city_arizona_2.htm) . Have you noticed the photo, 3rd row from the bottom on the left, the thumbnail image shows at least four or five smokey looking faces or images of people's faces looking down on the scene? Is that the interior of a stamp mill of some kind? Maybe it's my old eyes failing me or an overactive imagination, but it sure looks like the images of people's faces to me. I'd even go so far as to say the "face" on the top right of the photo is of a man with a mustache and the one next to it looks like a woman. It shows up more in the thumbnail image than in the full sized one.
I swear I haven't been drinking or smoking loco weed!

I have over 15,000 ghost towns photos. Probably closer to 20K now that I thing about it. Anyway, I often see orbs like this frequently. Inside buildings because of the sun and dust I raise. I would love to get a picture of a real ghost. So far no luck.

Next time you visit the Pitt's web site just right click on the site, scroll down to page info and select "translate to English" That way you won't need to interfere with your husbands beer drinking time.

By the way i help the Pitt with some recommendations on his visit to Colorado. Just doing my part of international relationships.
