Mission Camp near Wellton, Arizona

Does anyone know the location of Mission Camp that was 3 miles West of Wellton, Arizona in the early 1800's? It was a stop on the Butterfield Southern Overland Mail Route. I have an old map that shows Mission Camp right along the Gila River. But how do I find the spot today when the Gila River has changed so much over the years?

Do you have the directions published in the book "Retracing the Butterfiled Overland Trail Through Arizona"? If not I can post them as published in 1973
