Beautiful photos bad bob, thanks for posting them. Sad to say the only time I've ever been to Nevada was a stop at Whiskey Pete's on I-15 at the California-Nevada border, where I promptly lost all my money at the mercy of the one-armed bandits. (it was also my first time in a casino):o
That's some beautiful scenery, someday maybe we'll go back, this time bypassing the casinos.

Yer welcome Speedy, and Laura.
Been past Whiskey Pete's many times. No one can beat the bandits w/o the inside track on where the key machines are located. The only other possible odds beater is to wait out someone that has been playing a machine with no luck. If the machine is due to hit sooner or later, wait til they leave, then play til it hits, if it doesn't take too long.

Great photos, And i can relate to those machines, B B. I just haven't been very lucky at those one armed bandits except one time. and that just paid me back for the several times i did lose just don't gamble that much.

Now the wife is on a different trail then me and always wins on those one armed bandits. She just seems to know which ones are going to "pop" I just can't figure it out.

Hey Johnnie, I'm not a gambler either. Maybe Laura can hook up with Sheila, so Sheila can
coach her on the fine art of "bandit selection". :)

B B Sheila, won't even tell me how she does it. One of these days we all can meet on the Colorado River, and maybe Laura, with her cute personilty find out how Sheila, is so luckie. It must be a gal thing. Or that thing they call womens intuition:confused:

Dang it! My women's intuition must be out of order. I don't go to the casinos much, those infernal machines can tell I've got "SUCKER" written in big red letters on my forehead. ;)

From myself and the others on this board that are from Nevada, I thank you all for your donations in keeping our taxes low :)

Now if only the state would tax the casino's as much as they do everyone else, life would be better here

If the rest of us contributed as much to the various campaigns as the gaming boys did, our taxes would be lower too :)

IMHO: The best tasting water in the world can be had from the tap at Berlin. Just enough minerals in the right amount to be tasty.

I love to Gamble, did a lot in the barricks when I was in the service. Just don't like the odds in a casino so other than a roll of nickels to pass the time, I try not to gamble. I did get drunk one night while watching Golden Gloves fights at the old Stardust. I left home with about $30.00 and woke up with about $40 in my pocket and two black chips. Cashed em in at the next fight. BTW: Black chips are $100 each :)

Good night all!
