Does anyone really buy that junk or are they hoping for instant fortune?

Seems more like instant stupidity.
And,they're on the stuff.
I PM'd GaryB.
He'll give them the hammer !

Joel

That he will. Last count, he's posted 50 threads of his junk. YEEESH!

Spammers spam because they can. The absence of moderation on this board encourages them, since they know they can attack this site with impunity.

This would not be hard to stop. I would gladly assist the moderator if they want to see an end to this.

Make all first time posters moderated. I had to do that on my yahoo group.

I wish I still had that Mark-19 they use to train us with. :D

Hey Brenden...I gotta brand new screwdriver here for ya.

GaryB

Guess that's what I get for going out of town?

AS a side note, if anyone can or would be willing to help moderate, let me know. I'm looking to see if we can add a couple or three mods as I stand a really good chance of being transferred out of Vegas and wouldn't be able to troll the boards as much as I do now. I'm pretty much all there is since Andy and Eric left. Something about the low pay and horrible working conditions or something.

Of course you'd have to leave your family life behind and you couldn't show anyone the secret hand shake on risk of being, uh... removed ;)

When I went to bed last night, that idiot was still posting, the forum looked more like a sleazy pharmacy than a ghost town site. (It's hard to imagine anyone buying and taking knock-off drugs made in a filthy bathroom somewhere in Indonesia.)
Anyhoo, I'd gladly volunteer to moderate, but I'm afraid I don't have the temperament :o or a reliable enough connection to the internet, there are times when our ISP is out of commission for a few days at a time.
You've been doing a heck of a good job since you took over the moderating responsibilities, spammers may attempt to bombard us, but I know you'll take care of them as soon as you can, just as you did last night. Good job Gary!

As in the song Hotel California..."you can check out anytime you like, but you can NEVER leave.

You made the right choice Ranger. Besides, I'd just have to track ya down, and drag ya back in here anyways. :p

Yep gotta agree, GaryB has been doin' one heck of a great job (IMO).

:(I am sick off mobile phones and porn, what i am looking forward to is some good ol sea monkeys for sale:p
Or maybe some left handed tools or better still a flour and sugar chopper:D
My question is, WERE DO THEY GET ALL THOSE MOBILE PHONES FROM? Seriously, most warehouses wouldnt stock so much stock these days due to capital being tied up and left sitting to be sold.

Still plenty of sea monkeys Doc. Ya just gotta go look in the sea jungles to find 'em. I like the blue ones with the orange butts. :)

Got the lap top, but where I go, I'd need satellite up link.

I like to go places where the most technological items around are rocks. And not the ones in my head either.

Are they as big as Combines? :D

Hi Bad Bob,:D
Yep,they are big.Not very far from that big.Maybe a smidge larger.
Looks like underwater (about 3 feet down) hedge trimmers.
Rigged to the back (stern ?) of the boat.
And can be moved up or down.
Seen one about 100 yards from where I popped up.
