HOLY COW Don, how could you just leave those two cars there???? You coulda used them for new 4x4s under the previous "Cash For Clunkers" program!!!

Instead of old cars, I'm seeing an FJ & a new Dodge Cummins-powered 4x4 sitting there....

LOL!! :D

Couldn't do it. Those are Vultures new luxury cars and he wouldn't let me take 'em. Said he needed 'em for Saturday Nite Cruise Night in downtown Ludlow.

I'd call that `64 Ford a real gem. Heck, I could take the old Cadillac V-8 from my yard, throw it under the hood, and have a rat rod to cruise around in.

OH THE HUMANITY!!! A GM motor in a Ford? Why, God, WHY?!?!?!?!?

:D

Couldn't you swap that Cadi V-8 for a 460 or 351-series? I thought that the Cadi motors had a good following, and you can pick up 460's CHEAP....you could probably trade the Cadi V-8 for 2 Ford V-8s.

Hey, I'm a Ford man by trade, but when you're making a real rat, something completely out of left field is always the best. Forget some old Chevy 350 generic piece of junk, I'm talking about a genuine 1941 Cadillac 346 flathead.
Who couldn't resist being amazed by seeing one of those under the hood?

Thanks Silver. Happy to provide some entertaiment for the group with these old photos. Really nothing special about them other that I was lucky enough to be able to get them at a time when the some of the towns were still in an "untouched" condition.

Yep, the ... um, "air scoop" on the hood is a real hum-dinger! You could put a turbocharger in there with that hood on it! :D

OH they DO have a following, true.
But it's usually by a fuel truck isn't it? :D

Well, with the condition the latches are probably in, it would make an awesome "shaker" hood.
