Hi! I've been exploring ghost towns, mines, mining camps and other historic sites since the 1980s. The past few years I've been trying to photographically document as many of these places as I can, before they are gone forever. I have a section of my website devoted to this effort.

I saw a lot of historic buildings and ruins, old mines, equipment, vehicles and other neat stuff. Many of the vehicles and equipment are documented in detail on my Vintage Machinery page, including some old-fashioned gas pumps, a Chevy tanker truck, two different mine hoists, a Farmall tractor, and a mint-condition, 1923 Model T Ford:

I visited the Nevada Northern Railway Museum too, and got plenty of photos of #40, a 4-6-0 steam locomotive built by Baldwin in 1910.
