It is entitled "Secret Places in the Mojave Desert", Volume 1, by Death Valley Jim. I had the opportunity to preview a pre-published version online, and received the hard copy yesterday. It's a very well-written, detailed book with maps and directions on how to get to the town sites. For any serious ghost towner, like most of us are, this book will be an invaluable addition to your collection of GT books.

If you've seen Jim's postings online about his GT adventures, you won't want to miss this book. Not only does he visit the site and take photographs, he often does a full historical research on it.

Full disclosure: I am not selling this book or anything; just want to get the word out about a great new book for your bookshelf.

Thanks for posting this John. My account hadn't worked over here for the better part of 6 months. I guess that it has been fixed!

The book is selling well, and I expect that the first printing will be sold out any day. Thank you to everyone that has made a purchase, and I hope that you have found the book useful!

This is a link to the recent announcement of the book, ' Colorado's Best Ghost Towns'. http://www.reporterherald.com/lifestyles/neighbors/ci_19065518 I was fortunate enough to help develop and supply photos. I expect each of you to buy a copy and admire some of my photos and help promote the book. (I do not get anything for sales). It is available just in time for your planning of the 2013ís ghost town hunting season.
