: Craig builds small scale railroads and has a fictional railroad setup to Goldstone. He does a lot of historical research prior to building his setups. His Goldstone railroad scheme is found on the web at http://home.att.net/~craig.w.tice/Grr/GoldstoneRouteB.jpg

: It's on most decent maps. Just take the Fort Irwin

: road and hang a left on Copper City Road it will

: take you to goldstone Rd

: Hi,
: I just came back from Goldstone. There is nothing there but the main shaft which is quite deep. There is also, one or two more shafts that are close by. There are very few foundations. A lot of broken glass and food cans. I do have some pictures if you want me to I can email them onto you. I am also looking for pictures of building of the town, if they do exist. To get there follow the directions given by Linda. Also, if you intend to visit the place, make it soon. Fort Irwin is taking it over very soon.
