: What I want to know is was there a third town further west along the ridge named Sloway?

: Who has a map old enough to show this?

I went to it and it's a listing of campgrounds in Montana. Sloway was one under the city area St Regis. The phone number there is 406 822 4233 . This must be more than a coincidence. Let us know what you find. Steve in so az

Hey there.
A quick web search uncovered this; as follows. I hope it helps :).

'I-90 east-bound, exit 37 - Sloway, there is food and lodging there'.
