: There's an interesting short road that runs from Virginia City through the ghost town of Lousetown. I never was able to find the town site but the road goes past another site whose name escapes me at the moment. Along the way there is another road that goes to some pictoglyphs. The first road comes out on I-80 near Derby Dam, I think. You should be able to find it on a good map. Try the Delormes Nevada Atlas and Gazeteer.
