Depends on what you are looking for. Cerrillos and Madrid are more populated than not. Madrid is sort of an art colony these days. Cerrillos has always been lived in. If you are looking for remote ruins, they aren't. For a real ghost town experience you could head out to Riley or Kelly, a favorite of mine. Grant county has some great sites. The area between I25 and the turquoise trail has some places.
