    Default Ruby Arizona Story Addition

I am a genealogy hobbiest and I would like to let you know of a couple errors in your story of Ruby Arizona.

Frank J Pearson (not Phearson) married my Gr Grandmothers sister Frances Coleman in 1892 in California. He must of come with the family from Williamson County Texas or followed not long after they arrived in California. The following year Margaret Pearson was born. Frances however died in child birth. Frank took the child back to Texas and married a second time Myrtle Purcell. This is the couple that was murdered in Ruby in 1921 by the bandits, while Margaret watched. After the death of her father and step mother Margaret was returned to her Grandparents in California. She lived with them until she married. I have pictures of Margaret. Frank and Myrtle Pearson were burried in Andice Cemetery Williamson County Texas and their headstones read "Killed by bandits in Ruby Arizona 26 Aug 1921".

    Default Ruby Paper

Cespos, I also have a family connection to Ruby. Maybe you've seen this in another one of my posts, but this is a term paper I wrote for a class and submitted to the site which explains the connection towards the end.
