    Default Manchester, California

    Hey;

    Does anyone know how to get to Manchester, in Monterey County, California? Near as I can tell, that's about the closest ghost town to where I live. Many thanks.

    Default Just a guess

    Some time about the turn of the century the town was renamed Mansfield. Mansfield shows on l895
    atlas maps. There is a Mansfield Canyon shown on Cosio Knob sectional at about 36-05-55N, 121-08-41W. Might be a starting point unless someone comes up with something better. It really doesn't look right to me, but it'll give you something to look at. Also, you might e-mail Cecile, or check out her website www.explorehistoriccalif.com OJ
