Outstanding. Anyone missing out on your GRE sites is missing a real opportunity to see, with some awe, what you've seen, to enjoy it through the lens of your camera and your apt monologue, and to imagine being there with you. Your site is a favorite. Rightfully so. Thanks. OJ

Thanks for the kind words everyone... we are still actively working at keeping these sites alive and accessible. Mike-- I saw you had some Frisco pics... next time you are out there, shoot me an email and I can send you a map of the good stuff to see out there. Just north of where you were at, there is a much more remote site and more to see...

    Thumbs up

Thanks for the updates and for a great site! I just had my first (small) taste of Utah 2 weeks ago and I loved it! I am already looking forward to going back and exploring some more!

    Hey Corey,

Where'd you find those old houses? I'm really familiar with the Rochester Panel area and have seen a few other petroglyphs in that area (we used to live down there) and have also seen a few ghost towns down there, but I didn't recognize the buildings you came across. Must have been in the southern part of Emery county where the Swaseys lived. I lived next door to one of the Swasey descendents (his name's Lee) who also happens to be a surveyor. He gave me quite a few very detailed topo maps of Emery county. Maybe I can talk you into venturing down there again sometime soon so you can show me where you found those houses? I'll try and dig up those maps Lee gave me so you can take a look at them too.
