    Default Beren's River

Ontario's best preserved ghost town has been demolished. The ministry of Northern Development and Mines removed what remained of Beren's River in 2005.

The townsite was left almost undisturbed for decades and included a bowling alley, one room jail and worker's homes.

It was so remote that you would have to fly in to get there. Pictures and the story can be found on my page.
