Default Several Mines in the southern Panamints of Death Valley

    Hi all!

I was able to get away a week or so ago for my first time to drive and walk to several old mines in Death Valley. I spent 4 days poking into the southern Panamint Mtns looking for old machinery. And was it great! I learned a lot about backcountry travel(by foot and by 4x4) in the area and can't wait to get back. BTW, I had to quit the trip early, because of a bad case of poison ivy that I had contracted from busting the brush down here in Arizona in the Huachuca Mtns!
There are several photos here from the trip and quite a few more at my website.
