Default Sultana Gold Mine on Lake of the Woods

This is a gold mine with ghosts and the whole darn island is a ghost town, and its haunted... oh yeah.

Have you ever read this Dumpdiggers' piece?
    Haunted Gold Mine

The scariest thing about this article is that it's all true. You can go there today and see... and hear... the history of the gold rush in Kenora in 1901.

Here's a cave that moans. It had a hundred dead guys
in the bottom but still no claims of "Haunting."

I enjoyed reading your adventure on your link. I've also been finding
and poking around in lost dumps for years. I didn't realize there
    was a name for it.

As far as the "spook" angle goes, I guess it sells "hits" and ad space right?

Default There are no Ads on Dumpdiggers

I'm not sure what you mean by the spook angle selling ads. There are no ads on Dumpdiggers.

And if the link to the moaning cavern is suppossed to suggest that the sounds I heard in the Sultana shaft are a natural - let me tell you it doesn't because it isnt. Those sounds were natural... supernatural.

Arob and Danbo - I loved both those links. I can't wait to tell my Mum there's a name for the preoccupation of my brother and me, dumps, that used to drive her absolutely nuts!!!
