What year is it? '86 or '87? I haven't heard of one of those in a while. I know there are a couple guys on some different forums I go to that have 6L turbo Supra motors swapped in.

I use either a Camaro or Fiesta...most of my encounters with ghost towns have been during work trips. Doing a lot of the dirt roads out west required a lot of research prior to make sure I didn't need high clearance. Needless to say I found myself parking along the pavement and walking many, many times. Only needed a winch once in New Mexico.

Well everyone I totaled my 4Runner. Hit a car at 50 mph. Spent 10 days in hosp. 5 days in coma. My upper jaw is a metal plate, head injury in back 6 ribs broken and a broken breast bone, fractured my knee cap. I supprized the docs they didn't think I'd make it

I use Toyota's to get me to the wilds, primarily Land Cruisers as that is also my profession. I've had a variety of them but my primary 'ghost-towning' rig is a 100 Series Land Cruiser.

I'm sure going to miss that truck. It was a 1987 factory turbo 4RUNNER. One h--l of a 4 wheel drive. Never left me stuck.
