Great detecting, folks. This gives me a lot of confidence in you, Bob!

I was on a hunch that had me in Utah - (but what would I know?) -and all I discovered was that my recent hard drive re-boot has completely deleted my GoogleEarth "my placemarks" folder. All those hours....wasted! Would you believe, I had just about every ghost town that is possible to locate from the interactive map, posted there!
Guess I'll have to do it again! This time, adding Green River!

Great work G T Bob. and B B for posting the photos. We are still trying to find out where the other town is located that Laura posted but is a lot harder without the terrain not visible in the back ground as it was in the other photo. This old west town gives us all a real challenge.

I guess thanks GT Bob, but you know I acknowledged twice that it was YOU that solved the mystery, and all I did was google your discovery, and post some other shots of the town.

    Default 1927 Photo

Did everyone notice that it appears that the Senate Saloon is in the 1927 photo that Bad Bob submitted on page 2. Other buildings to the right of the saloon have been added. So the original picture was probably taken not many years before 1927.
