    Default Randsburg, CA and RV's

We plan to go to the Randsburg area next month; I read somewhere that you can park your RV overnight anywhere in town but not next to the park; true? If not, where is a good, safe, close-in place to park while exploring the area? Thanks!

I would park it at the camp ground at Red Rock Canyon State park (Ricardo Campground). we just did an off road trip in the area and staged from there. Patrolled by rangers and only a 20 minute ride from Randsburg. Better yet, its close to the El Paso Mtns where all the good stuff is!

thank you, High Desert, but what we had in mind was either boondocking or at least a free place to park it for a few days. Thanks!

There is FREE BLM land for use about 5 miles north of Randsburg on the eastern side of 395.

We camped in the desert 1.5 miles east of the town of Red Mountain, just off Trona Road in a quiet area next to an abandonded mine...it was perfect!

(We used Google satellite views to locate a spot.)

We did not see anything in the town where you could park the RV suitably.
