    My take:

1-Its all made up and at any rate unverifiable.

2-Some of it is real and some of the story fills in the gaps with wild speculation.

3-Its all real, but the extent of the threat is unknown, mostly due to the extensive use of terms the average person dosen't inderstand. Am I the only one here that doesen't know what a gravtic ultra craft is, or a Merlin IIB aircraft is?

With all the exotic military talk its hard to tell what,if anything was going on. I don't understand much of it.

And its impolite to type all in caps.

Was interesting up to the over use of "exotic" to describe the "exotic" aircraft.

There's reports of a few times we were on the brink of nuclear war, being either human or computer error. A little web searching can easily find them.

Russia has too much on their plate to try to push war threats anyway. IMO they're worried about anything with Iran spilling over into their soil. That and they're likely supplying the whole thing in Iran anyway, so it's be bad business to allow Iran to be attacked. And for everyone to find out the truth.

But if by chance, one of the silos at NAFB fires off, I'll try to let you guys know on my way out of town

    Tin foil hats on please,

The cold war ( IMHO ) never ended. Only the “press release” changed.
Here’s a credible source that tracks daily events. http://www.globalsecurity.org/

I’ve heard it said that 90% of the targeted population will survive
a single site nuclear/terrorist attack. Of them, 90% will die due to stupidity.
The trick is to NOT be stupid.

Pre plan so you can quickly get the he11 out.

    No entrees? NO ENTREES!
No hors d’ouvres either, I suppose? No way to run an end-of-the-world, in my humble opinion, no way at all.
