    Default Dragoon Madness

I was out in the Dragoons this weekend. According to Nell Murbarger GHOSTS OF THE ADOBE WALLS (1964), Fourr's Fort is roofless and has stone walls. I used a book Brian10x gave me that has rough directions and believe that I have found it: Just east of the Fourr Ranch in Fourr's Canyon. There's not much to it. I really don't think there ever was. It was just built to protect his family from Apache attacks. It's a part of the Coronado National Forest these days. We don't have to worry about the teenagers with a case of beer and someone's truck. It's a long and hard hike with no trail. The Fourr Ranch on the north has a locked gate and the Dragoon Cattle Company on the south has one as well. The Playstation crowd will never find it.

    Thanks Brian10x!
