I'm guessing it's too hot to go out, and besides, we ran off most of the newcomers
Did I just say that out loud?

Think it might be the summer time blahs. Some folks try to avoid the heat. Jeez! Haven't I put enough up on the board this summer? Maybe the folks that live in cooler climates might venture out!

Thank goodness for Joel and a few other hearty souls who brave the heat and still get out there to explore. Otherwise we'd have to resort to talking about Gravity Hill and the Seven Gates of Mel.
I hate the heat but love Arizona...go figure.

Been awhile since I visited. Hectic year. Did git to Alaska again, found some more gold, visited Chaco Canyon in New Mexico, spent a few weekends in Colorado Mountains and made a trip to AZ. Going to take a deep breath and sit a spell. If you are interested I did numerous updates to my site. Here is Alaska stuff great ghost towns of Kennecott and Independence. http://www.rockymountainprofiles.com/alaska.htm I must say Chaco Canyon was really impressive in New Mexico. http://www.rockymountainprofiles.com...ural_ruins.htm

    Thumbs up

Ahhh Mike, Great additions to your web pages, as always! Kennicott/Kennycott/Kennecott, no matter how it's spelled looks like a terrific site. The scenery alone must have made it well worth the trip. Thanks again for sharing. I'm headed back to your site right now to do a bit more armchair exploring.

That would be nice. Seems like none of the regulars are visiting. When I view whose online, it's usually just me and maybe 6 or 7 guests.
