Smile a very "liveable" Ghost town

Snorkle, . . Looks like a pretty "good liveable" place to me. You'll see why I think so if'n ya look at my place in Ohio at : http://www.drburkholter.com/cf6.html
I lived there full time in the early '70s. Been here in California since. Go back occasionally. Don't figure to ever live there again but I keep it liveable in case I need it one day. Is on 70 acres of family owned property with a house built in the 1880s, barns, a cottage, assorted outbuildings, etc. 100 yards of front lawn from the family home front porch to the river. http://www.drburkholter.com/cf14.html
    Nice. .

ps. Maybe keep the place and replace the husband ?

    Default great place

You should write a book. Your web site is great and working on it must be a blast. Thanks for sharing it with me. Replace the husband? hummm. After being single for 25 years, I find it hard to meet half way sometimes but I'm happy with my handsome big southern cowboy. horse, chickens and german shepherds living in the mountains in our little cabin. I think I would miss him. lol He doesnt grip when I go overseas a few times a year to do my snorkeling. I guess I have it all. Great adventure with your real ghost town. Your a lucky fella, Dala

Hi Dala, I was recently in Packwood and heard of this place and was wondering what the status was? I see this post was dated a few years ago. But in driving by the property this past weekend I noticed it was still for sale. What is the asking price and do you have photos? We did not go in as there was no trespassing signs on the gate. Thanks and any info can be sent to my email PrincessAja@hotmail.com.
    Thanks.
    Aja

And I love Orofino, my grandmother recently got remarried and moved out there! Small world!!

I accidentally posted the link without context.

The owner has a current ad on Seattle's craigslist selling wood from a building in Cripple Creek.

If you're quick you could try to contact her through the craigslist ad.

    Ergo...the above link.
