    One more, Big Bertha.

I SO wanted to pay the guy the $10 to hear this gigantic engine roar, but the look my wife gave me convinced me otherwise...

The sign says "Hear Big Bertha Make Thunder, $10". That blueish ring on the right is about 6' in diameter. This thing is a BEAST.

We were there last Summer, thinking it was just another tourist trap we'd spend 15 or 30 minutes in. Boy were we wrong; we spent over two hours there and took LOTS of photos!

So, if you're in Jerome, be sure to check this place out.

    Default Gold King Mine

We have been looking through some old papers that my grandparents had and it mentions them owning the Gold King Mine in the 1920's. If anyone knows any information from this time period I would love to hear from you. They owned a road construction company Riddle Road Construction. If you have any information please let me know.

    Thanks!
