    Hello,

This link will take you to info on the Cobre Grande Mine.

    http://www.mindat.org/loc.php?loc=46252

At the bottom of the page, if you click on "nearest localities" you will find info on other mines in the area.

If you haven't seen my website, you can go there and see several photos of some of the machinery that was laying around near the minng camp of Aravaipa back in the late 1990's.

    The home page link is:

Scroll down to the link for Aravaipa, an old mining camp....

I guess it all depends on what you want. I think that Aravaipa Canyon itself blows everything else out of the water. No ghost towning there, but the landscape ought to have your jaw dragging along the ground.

To tell you the truth, I'm obssessed with finding out more about the old mining/ghost town of Aravaipa. I thought if I had the names of the mines, I might be able to track more info down. Went there this past summer(actually trying to get to Landsman Camp) but found a locked gate on the county road! Planning a return trip soon, so I'm trying to get all info I can. I WILL get there this time! TY
