That boat always got my attention while driving on hwy 30, just addicted to old stuff I guess. The School in Goble? kind of creepy actually! It is a huge building, 9 classrooms, gym, shop, offices, etc, over 26,000 sq.ft. It had been unused for five years when we got it (really cheap) and I fixed it up, replaced all the broken windows, got the plumbing working, cleaned everything, etc. then sold it to some kind of "church" group for a summer camp. That was over four years ago and nothing has changed as-of six months ago when I drove by last.
About 11 years ago I moved from Ridgefield WA. I had a boat then and am trying to remember if I saw it. Memory problems again!I travelled alot on the Columbia around that area. It would be cool to restore it and have tours up and down the river. Hamellr thats a great site you have.

The River Queen Restaurant was moored near the Sellwood bridge in SE Portland
until the big flood of 1964. She came loose from it's moorings and went down river.
The restaurant was not returned to the Sellwood location.
Instead it re-opened between the Broadway and Fremont bridges and remained in business until 1995.
Pics show Sellwood location in the early 60s, then later near downtown Portland.
(Sellwood Park is forested area on top of bluff).
