Default The happiest place in the country

I heard today that Utah has the happiest people of any state in the country. Is it true? And if so, is that place for sale?

My Uncle Don (a farmer) had a Studebaker truck just like that one. Bought it brand new. Sure brings back memories.....Thanks

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

We're all jumping for joy all day here, lol.

I also read Utah has the most people per capata taking depression meds... go figure, lol.

Ya, I need to explore my own backyard more. I have driven by this place for years and never saw it. It is off the highway quite a ways, but you can still clearly see it if you just look. The whole area around here is chuck full of old houses like this one, I'll be posting some new pictures soon, but here are a few I took just recently.

This one is just south of Spring City

This one is located between Spring City and Ephraim, Utah.

If I couldn't live in Nevada, Utah would be a close second. Not for the people, but the scenery.

Oh and the fishing is quite good too

But we're the happiest in the country, haven't you heard, lol.

I have an irrigation pond 1 mile east of my house that you'd be hard pressed to get skunked at. The Sandpitch which runs through our valley, also holds some nice Browns in it, if you're willing to walk the river... which I love to do.

If it sounds like I'm bragging, well I guess I am a bit. But after all, who doesn't enjoy their own home turf. I love Utah, I also love the people. I admire the family ethic which dominates. But that is a subject for another thread, or even a different website, so lets move on... getting a bit off topic here.

When we were looking at our new property boundaries we found part of an adobe cabin that has been washed away. I don't know how old it is because I really don't think the sand and sagebrush in the Christmas Valley area of Oregon is the right kind of adobe to make a cabin out of. I think it was alot of work for nothing. I would post the pictures, but my computer won't down load pictures anymore for some reason. The harddrive crashed a couple of weeks ago and the no used one isn't working right. This computer is so old that the guy working on it said we might get 6 months out of it if we were very lucky.
