My mom, Linda (Crain) Nichols lived in Aztec from 1944-1951, Her parents, Charles and Mary Crain, owned the gas station and diner attached to the gas station. They lived out behind it in a one room shack made out of railroad ties. I have my grandmother's negatives that I am slowly getting scanned into the computer of their time in Aztec, I also have a class picture with 10 children and a teacher in front of, what I assume, the schoolhouse. I would love to talk to anyone who lived there during that time who may remember her. I will also gladly share pictures once I get them all scanned.
