Default Sutro, Nevada--Part 2 and a very rare find.

Extremely unusual to find this mine locomotive, in photo 3, lying around abandoned. In fact, I've never seen one except in photos. I didn't realize I even had this photo until yesterday when scanning this stuff. The iron strap sticking up in the air is part of the electrical contact shoe that rubs along the charged wire running overhead. The locomotive wheels provide the ground connection.

Thank Darin. I guess I gotta keep you entertained. Oh yeah, what's after "dirt bike ghost towner"? I don't like dirt bikes but I do ride a street Harley. I fall off of dirt bikes.

    Default Wonderful!

Hopefully you have a whole pile of these photo's. This stuff is really gold, $800 an ounce, or more.
