    Default Wanted: Ore Car

I'm loooking for an ore car (small one on tracks) for my backyard. I know there are places that manufacture reproductions which would be fine, but I just can't find them doing net searches.

    Anyone know of any?

Yup, Just east pf Carson City, Nevada, on Highway 50, north side of the highway and before ya get to the Virginia City turn off, there is a guy who makes 'em and has them on display. You can easily see them from Highway 50. You'll hafta try and get somebody around Carson City to get the name and number for you as I don't have it.

Click the "order" link and it lists prices. I plan on using these guys to get some yard art when I get to move and build my new home.

They are listed as being an antique mining dealer. If not, they might know who you are talking about.

I know of a few mines that have ore carts, but it would be very dangerous getting them out and it would be better to leave the history in place for others to see....if they dare.

    Good luck though!
