    Default Table Mesa Clean-up

I know this is short notice but I've just heard about it myself. Not even sure how many folks here are in the Phoenix area but there is a clean-up at Table Mesa tomorrow at 8:00 am. Fish and Game is providing dumpsters, not sure about trash bags. Just thought if anyone was interested and local I'll be there picking up other peoples trash along with local some 4 wheeler clubs and gun board members. I17 north, exit 236, west side of the road.

Well we had a pretty good turn out. Picked up a lot of trash. I hooked up with Jason308 from Table Mesa Area Coalition and the two of us took on one area by ourselves. The last pic shows what the two of use hauled out. Got there before sun-up so I threw in a couple of pix of that too.

    Great shots!

236, that's New River, right? A friend of mine I used to go 4-wheeling, snake hunting, and ghost town searching with used to live out that way....on the west side of I-17....IIRC you could see Table Mesa from his place right there...

Man, this site is bringing back a lot of memories! Glad I found it! Is the Roadrunner bar still there?

    Nice Jeeps, too...which one's yours?

New River is the exit before that.

I think the Roadrunner is still there.

My Jeep is the yellow one with no dents. It's only two weeks old.

    Nice Pinzgauers!

And although I don't live in your state, THANK YOU! Volunteering for such "dirty work" is an important relationship-builder with the federal agencies responsible for managing our public lands, and the better we all get along, the longer we should be able to enjoy unfettered access to OUR lands.
