Default Texas - Between San Antonio and Langtry

I'm going to a family reunion this spring in Langtry and we're going to be flying into San Antonio. I've never been to Texas at all, so can anyone point me to locations that would be accessible in a rental car that are along I-90?

The front page is nice, but not being familiar with Texas, I'm not sure which of the 100 or so towns on that list are along my route, and which are too far out of the way to bother.

So I find out that Langtry is pretty darn close to being a Ghost Town itself which is interesting. Any other suggestions?

Hi,Have you gone already to this reunion? You might want to check out www.texasescapes.com They have the state's ghost towns divided into sections and Langtry would be listed in West Texas. There's Juno and Vinegaroon out in the Langtry area.If go go US Hwy 90 out of San Antonio, you can go through pearson and Noonan and Elstone in Medina County, they are past Castroville. If you see the sign for Elstone road, you can turn to your right, and drive down the road abit and see all that's left, a store building. In fact you can see the building from US 90.Been ages since i have been out to Hondo and Uvalde. I know of some east of San Antonio, like Belmont, Ottine,Engle, etc.,not much one the ones out in the Langtry area, which is why i mention Texas Escapes.
