    This picture was in the paper last week. Too bad there is nothing left now.

    I have been out that way prospecting a few times and all I saw was the foundation of the store. There are some rock buildings around some of old mines.
    Old mines and ghost towns, its all about the exploring!

    Back in the 50's I was out there and there were still some buildings left but you'd be hard put to find much of anything left out there now. One of these days I'll scan some of my slides I took out there.

    I would love to your pix of the area. I spent many weekends exploring the area in the early 80's.

    Yup,I saw the same paper. Im guessing youre in or near Yucca / JT.
    I used to go out a few years ago. Best Nov thru may I think.
