    10--4, your pics are amazing as well as others on this site- most of us are soooooooo far away, cannot or haven't the time to see everthing you have or been too!!!!!!!!

    Well, I was or am lucky in that I was able to get these pics before some of this stuff disappeared through either vandals or nature. Just glad I can post them for others to see what it was like. I was fortunate that I worked for a large city and was able to build up vacation and overtime so that I could take extended vacation time to visit all these places. I still work for another large city but the job won't let me take as much time any more so my ghost town playtime is suffering. I still get out but just not as much.

    With all the furlow days being placed upon state and federal workers + the weekends + regular holidays...you sure you're just not trying to hide you old age?

    Don, that third pic, the building in the background, is that a railway running the left side of it with all that wood there?

    Tracks for ore cars. They tried using Chevy's to pull the cars but they all broke down so they had to go back and push them by hand. Much more reliable doing it that way.
