    Default peoria Oklahoma

The person who wrote about Peoria on the website probably needs to do a little more homework before he writes anything else. The Peoria fire department sees a great deal of action, mostly because some people think it is fun to set fire to the forests that surround us. I couldn't tell you the number of times these men stood between our town and destruction or the number of homes they have saved. the writer made us sound like some backwoods hicks. Peoria has a rich and exciting history, if he had asked some questions instead of just taking pictures and leaving, he might have learned a little.

Can you elaborate a lil more on the history of the town and surrounding area. Would be a great read!

    And welcome to the forum!!!
