I'm looking for newspaper articles and photographs about something that happened in 1909 in San Marcial New Mexico. My Great Grandfather, Charles Albert Tinguely, had a store there. He paid someone to burn it down and collected the insurance. Later he had remorse and returned the money. Because he admitted that he burned the store down he was charged with arson, was arrested and served 18 months in the penitentiary in Santa Fe. I would like to find any newspaper articles about it. I would also like to find a picture of his store and to know exactly where it was. I've been to San Marcial and walked around, but I would like to stand on the spot where the store was. Any information would be appreciated.
