So in putting together my website on ghost towns of washington, I researched the historical cause of what caused the Dec. 9, 1899 coal mine disaster. The mystery I am trying to solve is where Ben Zeidler (Zelder), is buried. This is the individual believed to have caused the 1899 mine explosion. I have seen the name printed two ways from historical records Zelder and Zeidler. Just thought I would throw this out in case anyone has knowledge of it or knows a better way to locate records. I have tried quite a few different sites and online search methods. I have walked the Carbonado Cemetery several times and looked at the burial records. I have also checked neighboring Wilkeson records. I have seen many of the other graves from the disaster just not this one.
