Yep I guess it's a standard reply, barnie. Heard it lot's in the midwest.
Don't know the pic location. Just wanted to depict the emptiness in here, and googled for it.

    I'm here......

I check in every so often to see whats new.
Sadly, I haven't been able to get "out there" anymore.
My new job keeps me in town ( every danged day ).
I'll love it, but no more 4 day jeep runs, to the boonies.

So- I'm trying to live my adventures vicariously through this site.
And yes, It's been slim pickins lately.

We haven't even had any spook chasers in a while.
What's up with that? Did they all get "reality TV shows" or
    something?

OK. Great to know some of youse are still out dare. Barnie, B 10X, Dan, and thanks YAB. Haven't seen Laura around here lately, hope they're doin' ok.

Time for summer vacation, many snow birds heading back to cooler temps. Hey, take me with ya next time, I'll work for food & lodging, AND find a job at the snow camp.

Guess that explains it then. She was from the midwest.

We're planning a trip to see Fort Walla Walla this summer. Not a ghost town, but I'll be packing my camera's. If anyone is interested I can post pictures. I'm hoping to see the Whitman Mission National Historic site this summer too. There's alot of history in this area, we just don't have alot of ghost towns.

Like to see the pics, barn. Also, Clarkston, Walla Walla, & Umatilla (Est 1863 as Umatilla Landing) apparently have historic "old towns".

Pasco has Franklin Co Hist Museum, and Sacajawea Museum. Kennewick may still have the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train, and the Oasis Waterworks (Water Park). BTW some of this info was just part of research I'd done years ago trying to start a tour bus enterprise.

If you can find the spots where pioneers broke their wagons down and made them into boats (many drowned trying to float down the Columbia), you might find old artifacts to donate to a museum, even though the area has already been scoured.

I'm glad to see y'all are checking in.

I blame the lack of activity around here on Don because he ain't postin' no more purdy pitchers of his'n from the 1960s and '70s.

Once I saw them photos I'd get all restless-like and git out to the ghost towns. Since he ain't moseyin' by here no more I just been sittin' around doin' nothin'.
