Cecile, it was nice meeting you this past weekend! I've already read the book, and it was enjoyable. I'd recommend anyone pick it up.

Nice meeting you to D.V. Jim, and keep up the good work on your site! Here's the first review of my book to whet your whistle until it the first real edition is published by the Historical Society of the Upper Mojave Desert within the month.

I look forward to reading your book, Cecile. Maybe the Interagency Visitor Center near Lone Pine will carry it (fingers crossed).

The Interagency Visitor Center has long been waiting for me to get this book done..it will be distributed there, I am sure. We are still ironing out details of publishing through the Upper Mojave Desert, but they hope to get it out before Christmas. Will continue to update so everyone will know when final edition is available.

Word has come in from the publisher of my book - Historical Society of the Upper Mojave desert in Ridgecrest on Cerro Gordo Ghost Town Caught Between Centuries: "We've got them at
the Eastern Cal. Museum in Independence, the Lone Pine drugstore, and Jim is taking a
few to Jawbone Station. The Interagency Center in Lone Pine is also
considering them." We will be doing a book signing at Jawbone Station on Saturday April 28.

It's totally up to my publisher if they want to go that route. You can order from the Historical Society, however, by calling 760-375-8456 or e-mail hsumd@ridgenet.net.
