: Last August I visited Coolidge, Montana. Most of the town buildings are still there (in various stages of decay), but the gigantic mill above the town has been systematically disassembled over the past two years by its owner, who has salvaged all of its weathered lumber for sale. There isn't much left of the mill. If you saw it in past years in its standing glory, it will bring a tear to your eye. At least the townsite is still there, and it is always a nice walk. Stop to see it, if you are in the area.
