look on this site map of Nevada, especialle Elko and White Pine counties. Alot of towns there. NE Nevada
Hey all! In an attempt to duplicate my efforts with the Oregon Ghost Town Map and this trip I did back in 2011, I am looking for suggested 2-3 day Ghost Town itineraries for each of the following states;
British Columbia
Washington State
Idaho
Nevada (Northern)
California (Northern)
Cavets;
must be two wheel drive accessible in summer months or a reasonable walkable distance.
Barren sites are fine, just need GPS coordinates.
Any class Ghost Town works
Tips on non-Ghost town sights along the way are appreciated (Historic buildings, waterfalls, nice campgrounds, Roadside attractions, etc.)
I plan on starting this process in mid spring and going through the summer. The goal is to hit as many Ghost Towns as possible on each trip. My Oregon trip was 14 locations in 2 days.![]()

How close to California are you going to get? I would definitely suggest Tunnel Camp and Humboldt City.
