So I am really needing some help with researching ghost towns. I am very interested in learning about the architecture of many of these ghost towns. The biggest issue is that I can't seem to identify the architectural styles of some of the structures I am interested in, and there is no info on these styles. I see various terms being thrown around, such as false front architecture, vernacular, and so on. But these seem to not fall into what I'm looking for. I want to know the architecture of places like Bodie in California, Custer in Idaho, and so on. I want to be able to identify the architectural styles of the buildings in these places so that I can hopefully learn more about them. I know there are various styles- but there seems to be little to no info on them, or they are not what I am looking for.

I know I am all over the place, but if anyone is willing to help me, I would be grateful!
