: There is a mine by the name Jack Black Mine. It is located in California in the Eastern Sierras around the Mammoth Lakes area.

    Default Black Jack, Idaho

There was a Black Jack Mine a few miles west of Silver City, Idaho in the far southwest part of the state. It was one of the first mines there in the early 1860s. It's on the topo maps of the area (check out terraserver.com or mapper.acme.com for free look at topos). The mine/town had a boarding house I think. There's some info on it in the book GOLD TOWN TO GHOST TOWN by Julia Conway Welch. (ISBN 0-89301-087-1). Also the Owyhee County Historical Society in Murphy, Idaho might have a few publications that mention it. One for sure is Owyhee Outpost #4, pg 2.
