    Cool Gebo

There is another cemetary out there by Gebo. Is it in the Crosby area? I heard that on Halloween there is a green haze over one of the two cemetaries. Is it true? They are locals raised and living in Kirby that told that story. Also, I heard a guy say he was out past Gebo a few miles at night with his brother and they got out of the pickup for a minute and heard a noise, like someone running on gravel. When they turned too look they saw a white haze of a woman figure coming to them. They got in the truck and took off fast. When the hit the white haze it stopped inside the truck and then disappeared. He said it looked like a teenage girl and he was about scared all over again telling us the story. I want to go out there, but he won't take us to that spot. He said he will never go back.

    Default Gebo and Crosby

Gebo is just east of Crosby. Gebo is easier to find, really easy actually. "Silk Stocking Row" still stands in Gebo and the cemetary and water tower are still there. Crosby is mostly some dynamite storage mounds, garages for mining cars and a few odd buildings. It's a true ghost town and I enjoy going there. I don't live far from it. And it is haunted by the way, but I go there all the time.

Default Hopewell when all else fails......

WHen all elese fails, you can do the following:

The historical society In Wyoming, or.....

Wyoming State Historic Preservation OfficeSeptember 2000 is Archaeology Awareness Month in Wyoming. ... One piece of obsidian found at a Hopewell site weighed between 25 and 30 pounds, ...

If there is or was a ghost town called hopewell, they would know.

Other possibility and I know it might sound strange but call a major Wyoming State Library and ask to speak to a reference libarian. Its always worked for me.
